What's new?
First wave of the new JSCAPE UI
JSCAPE has been an expert in MFT since 1999, but itβs time to bring its look and feel into the next century. We are excited to share the first wave of new UI updates for the JSCAPE application, which provides better organization, more intuitive interfaces and a more modern look. This will make your file transfer easier to understand at a glance, speeding up fact-finding and troubleshooting, while also simplifying and improving your overall JSCAPE user experience. This UI refresh will be ongoing throughout 2025, with new sections modernized with every release.
Improvements to file transfer speed
You can now share more quickly with better-optimized file transfers when using HTTPS. The JSCAPE team investigated and found a performance issue when sharing files via HTTPS, due to a lack of TLS optimization with our initial cryptography provider. To amend this slowdown and improve HTTPS file sharing for all customers, JSCAPE has switched to a cryptography provider thatβs optimized for TLS and secure socket communication, increasing download speeds from around 50MB/s to as high as 200MB/s.
Improvements to scalability
Organizations with a large number of Directory Monitors may sometimes experience a bottleneck when executing a trigger against them, as trigger automations are executed in a queue, which could cause HTTP 500 errors or server timeouts. Now, with dynamic resource allocation, these organizations can execute JSCAPE automation triggers against these monitors without experiencing a server timeout, improving both automation performance and reliability within these environments. This is the first optimization of many coming to JSCAPE around scalability.
