JSCAPE by Redwood 2026.3: Support for FIPS 140-3

Stay ahead of evolving federal compliance requirements with JSCAPE by Redwood version 2026.3

·

Enterprises that work with the United States (US) federal government must keep their compliance posture current as regulations evolve, and this release helps prepare JSCAPE customers for the next iteration.

What’s new?

Support for FIPS 140-3

FIPS 140-2 has governed cryptographic module validation for federal agencies and regulated industries for more than two decades. On September 30, 2026, that standard will be officially retired, with FIPS 140-3 taking its place, adding greater rigor in terms of security hardening, tighter testing requirements, stronger key management practices and overall closer alignment with international cryptographic standards.

This release now makes JSCAPE MFT Server, JSCAPE SaaS and MFT Gateway able to support the new FIPS 140-3, giving customers a clear path to compliance without disrupting existing workflows as the older standard is phased out.
