Frequently Asked Questions

Can I redistribute the components as part of my application?

Yes. All components include royalty-free distribution rights. This allows you to include the product libraries as part of your application without incurring any additional licensing fees.

I have development and production environments. What type of license do I need?

All components include royalty-free distribution rights allowing you to deploy the components to a production environment without additional fees. Please see the license type matrix above to determine the appropriate license.

I have multiple developers. What type of license do I need?

For environments with multiple developers the Site Developer or Enterprise Developer license are available. The Site Developer License is recommended if all your developers are located at a single geographical location. If you have several developers in multiple locations and/or need access to product source code then the Enterprise Developer License will meet your needs.

Yes. Component source code may be obtained when purchasing the Enterprise Developer License.

Do you have a formal license agreement that I can view?

Yes. The license agreement may be found in the product documentation included with the component evaluation download. Please see our General License Agreement for license details.

Our company requires that certain amendments be made to the License Agreement, how do we go about doing this?

We realize the JSCAPE license agreement may not always meet the requirements of your legal department. For this reason we accept minor mutually agreed upon amendments or changes to be made to the License Agreement in order to meet your needs. For additional information please submit a ticket along with requested changes to the Help Desk. There is an additional License Agreement Amendment fee of $1295.00 for each license purchased under an amended license agreement. This fee is to help us recoup the additional legal costs necessary in reviewing and processing amended license agreements.
