Challenge
Maxwell Technologies needed a secure file transfer application that could service both their internal users, as well as many international trading partners and customers.
Maxwell Technologies had several functional and technical requirements for a managed file transfer application which included:

Solution
After a thorough evaluation Maxwell Technologies chose to deploy JSCAPE MFT Server to a Solaris environment.
Results
Using JSCAPE MFT Server Maxwell Technologies was able to achieve all requirements. Using the web based file transfer services available in JSCAPE MFT Server, Maxwell Technologies eliminated previously experienced firewall related issues and the need for users to install complicated client software.
Several of Maxwell Technologies international customers have email attachment size limits coupled with low bandwidth Internet connections. In the past this made sending large email attachments to customers error prone and inefficient. The Ad-Hoc Email File Transfer feature provided Maxwell Technologies with a quick and easy solution to this problem.
